Ian is a self taught photographer who has received several awards for his photography and featured in exhibitions and galleries around the world. 

With his main area of interest being landscapes he has a knack of capturing unusual and unique atmospheric images without the use of filters or long exposures. 
Ian is also well known for his photographic manipulation art, using his unique view to create images that are distinctively his alone. 
Sport and vehicles are also an area that Ian occasionally dabbles in, and has been a team photographer for both Biggar RFC and Glasgow Rugby League clubs. 

Unusually Ian chose not not to sell any of his images until 2022 despite over 12 years of his works being exhibited. Now, via this website and the Clydeside Collective shop in Glasgow, Ian is releasing a very limited number of prints and artworks. Some runs may be limited to just one or two prints or canvases and all will be limited to a total of 100 or less pieces.
